be surprised if sli was the problem but what the hell , i turned sli off started up the game , clicked on login and hey pressto !!! Nothin still the same , "failed to connect to ea online"  _________________ we live to die so why not do it online and get used to it !!.

I was getting the same error for a while the other day, powering off my router for a while sorted it for me, i know you reset your router, but turn it off for 10 minutes.

OMG i dont believe it , turned of AVG and low and behold ,,,,,,,,, !! it still doesnt work bf2 works but not this , still "unable to connect to ea online". and i uninstalled bc2 and avg and reinstalled bc2 still nothin ggggrrrrrrrrrr. _________________ we live to die so why not do it online and get used to it !!.

hoorrrraaaa ! ok calm down , tried anything and everything and nothing seemed to
let me connect to ea online , then i found a forum that said to try this at the command promt, "netsh interface tcp set global ecncapability=disabled" i have no idea what it does (some one enlighten me here pls), but it worked , updater did its thing 1st time as did the game.
