My Ex wants to get one of the above for her son ( Boulder / Lum ).

does anyone think the deal is worth it ? she was going to buy a laptop for crimbo, this may be a better deal...

only comment would be lack of gfx card...the cheapest they do with a 'bespoke' is 599 from toshiba for a 128m intel jobby.
other than that, the Advent with core2duo for GBP looks pretty good - if you dont mind orange broadband ;)
