i recently, well yesterday, got a orange contract phone, £35 a month, but it says im entitled to free broadband or cheap broadband, i checked this out on the orange site and it appears i can get the same maxasdl (upto 8mb) for £5 a month, so £40 for both my phone and bb.
Im currently on bt, £27.99 a month so this will dramatically reduce my bill, how easy would it be to switch and has anybody got experience with orange's bb service?

'upto 8mb' what would be the average speed do you know? I've heard many stories of people getting nothing like what they should be with some deals..

yes i understand that my friend, im currently on BT maxadsl and get around 5.5-5.7 speeds, will orange be any faster, surely not slower?

If your on cable doesnt your speed get effected by how many peoples on?
I'm on DSL and my speed is always 7.5mb.

orange broadband was on watchdog very recently along with some obvious others, theyre seriously not worth the hassle, imo stick with BT or cable
