The Register: Quantum attacks worry computer scientists
"In the weird world of quantum computing (a computer that exists in multiple dimensions and uses a form of teleportation in its calculations), the state of computer systems networked together is so fragile that a read access to a single quantum bit, or qubit, on one machine would require a network-wide reset."

Sometimes I think I understand the concept of quantum computing, and sometimes I think I don't....

Its difficult enough explaining the simplest of concepts to many people here at work, like how to enable track changes on word and what its used for!

I made so many different attempts at working out which metaphors and analogys to use to try and explain ERP to a bunch of plums last year who'd already paid out and half enabled (set up would be an exageration) said system months before I got there, then had the sales dept ask me to write them some piece of bumph describing erp and how well it would work for their customers.
After lifting most of said bumph from a MS marketing site, using all the groovy marketing terms sales people like...and then having the sales people come back point out marketing terms and saying erm whats this isnt it a bit technical about stuff they should know.
I gave up and surfed the net and played CS on company time for the year and half of my contract. It was a really enjoyable contract after that.
