Mozilla Firefox 2.0 Final
The Mozilla Corporation have today uploaded the follow-up to their hugely popular web browser, Firefox. Despite not being featured on the Firefox homepage the files have all been uploaded to the Mozilla FTP site.
The Windows installer weighs in at 5568KB, and was uploaded at 0819GMT today. As well as this both Mac and Linux versions have been added.
This updated version is designated for release tomorrow, but avid Firefox users can get their hands on it now.

Got it this morning, works quite well. Can't actually notice any differences between this and the previous version though.
Except that only half my extensions work of course

A colleague mailed me this today:
"Try the user agent switcher extension and then switch between faking IE6 and the default when accessing the MS sites. Reload the page with each setting. Nasty little toe rags at MS are slowing delivery of page data to non-MS browsers."
C'mon Chad, grab teh bait ahehe

I'm loving the spell checker thing.
You can even right click on mis-spelled words and it gives you variations!
Brilliant

Arg. If anyone's downloaded from that FTP link then hit up the Mozilla site and download the actual 2.0 release. The version on the FTP wasn't 100% finished and some people were just too impatient to wait another 12 hours and went snooping.
On the actual product, I'm liking the recommendation thing in the search box.
