Aha.. you spotted it!
The old PSU I had didn't have a PCIe power connector so it used
two molex power plugs and a '2 into 1' adapter to plug into the
one socket on the gfx card, the shiny new PSU has
two proper PCIe power connectors as it's designed for a SLI set up, but i only need to use
one of them to power my
one card... it's all down to the first post being made with the old PSU in place, and the second one after I'd installed the new PSU.
Confused..?
