					| definitely can build that with better parts for less money
look at my spec a few posts down

antec case and psu £80 saved me a lot of money as opposed to buying separately

get AM2 because thats where future upgrades are likely to be i think...

					| Before we go any further I'm not building stuff meself - have a total gutsfull of nuts and bolts on the daily grind - looking for something that'll keep me going a while straight off the shelf. I honest to god do not have the time or inclination to build - yes I do have ( atm) more money than sense.

For some reason I like the thought of driving the kit home and dumping it back on the counter when it packs up, which is why I tend to go to the noobstore for my purchases.

note : - editted links out as my monitor isn't 6 feet wide

					| I do think you could do better then the 7600gt's,mabey not the 7900 as they are expensive due to been among the newest cards, mabey the 7800gtx series as they are almost the same performace but cheaper due to been slightly older _________________

					| Theres no point in buying a 939 computer now, to be honest.
Go for a AM2.
The DDR2 gives a nice boost.
Im 99% sure that the Athlon 64 x2 4600+ fits into the AM2. But theres 2 models - so be sure before you order.

Also, the 500+ is only a $51 more.

					| 7900GTs are under £200 now, a lot cheaper than 7800 GTX ( i think ) _________________

					| i bought a 7900GT this week...beware though, my first card was faulty, had to get it replaced - also avoid DABS their dumarses.
great card though..but if you google around you will see an epidemic of failures, mainly due to PSU's being shit i think, power regulator on the card

Also do you really need a floppy A drive? their obsolete, everyone uses pen/usb/flash drives now

always a have a floppy drive.....
good for SATA drives (less you have a maxtor drive which uses CD to format the drive before you install windows - all hail maxtor)_________________

					| Decision made.
Evesham Axis Nebula with custom upgrade to AMD Athlon64x2 5000 skt AM2 ( whatever that means)
 2Gb RAM
 1Gb Geforce 7950 GX2 graphics card
 20" monitor thingy
Thanks for all the advice - didn't listen to a bloody word any of you said!
And any criticisms you can stick it where the sun don't shine. Money's gone, delivery a week Saturday. It cost enough I don't need you smartarses telling me I've fecked up again.
