I'm looking for a 2TB USB 3 Hard Drive to keep a duplicate of things that are on my internal hard drive. I permanently back up files I want to keep to DVD. These are what I looked at: - Buffalo 2TB DriveStation External Hard Drive £110 2 year warranty - WD 2TB My Book Essential USB 3.0 External Hard Drive £94.93 2 year warranty - LaCie P'9230 USB 3.0/ USB 2.0 2TB Porsche Design Desktop Drive £110 2 year Warranty Should I have a preference on the make? |

I got a 2 TB WD with a USB 3 card in the end. I'm using Acronis True Image Home to back up the partitions on from my internal HD's. For the first time ever I now have a decent back up of everything on the PC. ![]() |

i would go for a dock. an esata or usb3 , Something like this. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprodu ... =HD-017-AK but esata would be faster if your pc has esata ports? http://www.amazon.com/Thermaltake-BlacX ... B001A4HAFS |
