What your keeping out the old one? Is it just the box you need or you starting from scratch, eg monitor, keyboard mouse and everything? NIMHSY=GCHQ= wrote: please bear in mind that i'm a total n00b when it comes to pc components
And your talking about something pre-built then? |

If thats your budget and you do really need everything i'd suggest buying a pre-built one from pc world or something :O Building your own isn't cheaper i found and unless you want to do it because its something that really interests you, or you really want specific components (certain processors/graphics cards/audio cards) i';d stick with the mass market ones. |

Custom PC build a PC for £500 http://www.pcpro.co.uk/custompc/feature ... String=500 Coupla months old so some prices have changed, eg you can get a E6600 for the price they paid for a E6300 CPU, but should give you a good starting list. |
