You can currently buy Thermalright Ultra-120's: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-027-TR&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=821

What I'm after is the new & improved version, the Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme. Kindly post here if you spot any on sale ;)

or buy one of these

ultra quiet and cool, my core 2 duo runs no hotter than 38 under full strain and as low as 28 idle, even in Vista.

I recommend this one.

My PC is running vista idle P180 case, E6600, 22 C ( seems remarkably low to me tbh, thats using pc probe built in on Asus board though so I guess its accurate).
Very quiet can't hear ut, huge heatsink though.

lol, well I have teh Zalman 9500, idle with overclock is 34/37C (Core#1/Core#2) when under pressure they usually go up to roughly 55/54C

Core 2 Duo E6400:

Stock - 266.66MHz x8 = 2133.33MHz

Overclocked - 360 x8 = 2880MHz

Fair difference, and the temperatures aren't that different from stock to the overclock for me. Temps went up about 7C when overclocked and I only have 3 case fans. 2x 120mm and 1x 90mm.

But I would recommend this one:

or if you want to go for the next one up, then this is the one I'd pick for my rig..

Standard ones that came with the case, (three 120mm fans), all set to medium.
