When I open a new section of the forum or refresh a page it often cycles through "shoutbox refresh" at the bottom (where it shows whats loading)
This will happen while I'm typing too
This usually means the page takes ages to load, the cursor dissapears and/or the display fecks up when scrolling.

Any ideas?

(anybody about to type "use firefox" I 've tried that many times, the slowness of it loading and the slowness of it displaying pictures tends to wind me up)

I think i've alieviated the symptoms but not fixed it. I turned spell check and translator off. That's reduced the amount of times it happens.
And yes, i'll give opera a go too 8)
