| I guess this falls under hardware problems. I have a faulty pixel on my camera's CCD. I have looked at the CCD and it looks clean. There is one pixel which is always bright green, once I noticed it I found out its affected every picture I have ever taken with this camera. My camera is second hand so no warentee, it's a Pentax ist Ds and only a few years old. Is there anything I can do to fix the camera? I guess i should go to a camera shop but wondered if there is are any suggestions here first. I think photohsopping would work but a bit too time consuming. I guess is only one pixel and not exactly worth spending money on. | |

| Write a script to average out the RGB values of the surrounding pixels and set your damaged one to the result or does the jpg compression always smear it around. | |
