there is no such thing as a sata II specification....the 3gb/s and other things are just a modification to the sata specification....so any drive labeled a sata II drive will work with any sata connection, only you wont get the so called sata II features if you have an older motherboard. i have 1 sata 2 HDD and 2 sata 1 HDDs, they are exactly the same in apearence just different speed. |

SATA2 drives usually hand out a jumper for the older support of 1.5MB/s I thinks... well.. mine did. ![]() ![]() |
