I don't know if this is any help, but if your also looking for a multi-card reader, I remember a review of a MSI do one with support for loads of different formats (something like 150+) and this includes SIM cards. SO theoretically you can back up your sim 
Really no use unless you need one anyway, but meh, thought it might help
