Post subject: | Dam MIC |
hey guys Ever since i rebooted my pc if had mic problems, and now it just wnt work at all! I have checked the mic in the volume control and it is selected. The mic is switched on and the volume turned up so I don’t know what else to do. Iv also doen that hardware test thing and it seems to be ok, well it dosent come up that it registeres im speaking. the only noise it seems to record is my system sounds coming through my sppeakers lol. I have also noticed that a long time ago when i first rebboted my pc when I plugged the mic in, I could immediately hear my self speaking through the speakers. Any how could anyone give me some advice please about getting the microphone working. Any advice will be welcome, grego |

Umm... that from what the problem is... it sounds like the microphone is recording sounds from your PC, if correct then you have a problem with the Recording settings. It's probs recording the Wave output... I do it for streaming live music over MSN rather than sending the song. >.> The link below is showing you how to record Wave Output, so rather than changing it to Wave or Sterio Mix, try changing that to Microphone. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v440/TidusX181/misc/tut.gif |
