Just about to install (For the first time) the router that Beefeh suggested, and that seems simple enough.

But I was wondering if I have to set up the firewall, or if there's anything I really need to know in setting up the configurations?

it is a firewall wall because your home pc`s ip`s will be masquraded buy the router :)
