Will they bother that a UK based player was already playing before launch when it comes to Launch day? Or can you just say you brought your rig back from Korea for the Uk launch?

like the rest of us... if you..... do this... Control Panel / Network and Internet / Internet Options / Connections / LAN Settings / Tick Use a proxy server for you LAN / Address 211.53.208.28 / Port 3128 / Shut down Origin / Click OK / restart origin You can leave the window open. Activate game, and untick the proxy box again. Job Done. works perfect for me. Im running Win 7 64 so any diff OS might be slightly different steps. |

That's pretty much exactly what I did to get activated, routed through a proxy in Korea for the 30 secs or so it takes to activate the game. Then back to normal settings straight away afterwards. Worked fine, been playing single player and online MP since Monday evening. There's so many people that did it I can't see them doing anything about it, they'd piss off way too many people if they did I think. If they do, then the rest of you get to point and laugh.
