The CPU competition comes from INTEL (megabucks) not NVIDIA (not yet anyway,correct me if I am wrong) , I used to have AMD CPU's because they where cheaper ,but I've had INTEL also and do so now , also I have had top of the range NVIDIA Cards and ATI Cards ,never been a FAN BOY of either camp ,just make the right choices at the right time for myself  .

I tend to stay away from things that create problems for me when using them. So far ATi (AMD) have done nothing but cause problems. Every ATi card I've had, has had major driver issues. Causing crashes, BSOD and simply making a game unplayable. They may claim to have the fastest hardware, but when you spend most of the time trying to get it to work, that claim is a hollow one. Yes I know Intel are their competition with CPU's and I had hopes that AMD's new bulldozer chip would be a new intel killer. But they have once again failed on that front, hence the bulldozer joke. |
