It's a subject close to my heart because I used to work in (on the edge of) this industry. One of my last projects in my last job was to write software to control equipment for reticle inspection tool (for intel no less), possibly the most complex machine I have ever seen in my life. Positioning an optic using a stepper with <10nm accuracy, in a vacuum chamber isn't easy. Anyway the article bought back memories. I still have a copy of my wafer map code, lol.
So next time you attempt an impossible overclock, think of how delicate those little interconnects are.
