					| tried it, apparently my nvidia drivers are not compatible, even though they are the latest and they say they now have hd support, I wanted to try it out to test out 1080p on the projector, i did only use  the usb cable and it will work fine with the latest cyberlink windvd which has support for hd dvd, it does work and will allow you to play hd dvd's on your pc, but it does not support all vid cards, _________________

these are usually 15GB - 20GB in size - let me know if you want one

					| i've got a few 1080p films on hddvd, I wanted to try out 1080p instead of 1080i on my projector to see if its worth investing in a dedicated 1080p player now that they have just come out _________________

					| id say no at this time - in 2 years they`ll be 40 quid in asda etc etc
 if you where to get one id get the LG -  it plays HDDVD and Blueray

					| i'll probably wait for the price to drop, the xbox is ok for the mo as i can play films at 1080i, i know it will do 1080p over vga, but you lose dolby sound _________________

					| it only has an optical out on the componant connector i think, which will do 1080i, i got a shop assistant to open the packet on the vga adapter and it had only a audio left/right rca connectors.
Unless theres a different vga adapter available, but i dont hink so.
